Biography

Foysal completed both MSc and BSc in Electronics and Communication Engineering (ECE) at Khulna University of Engineering & Technology (KUET), Bangladesh, where he was awarded a gold medal for outstanding performance in undergraduate studies.

Foysal's research interests mainly focus on Machine Learning, Computer Vision, Medical Image Analysis, and the application of AI in Healthcare. His MSc thesis topic was to detect COVID-19 disease from chest CT images using a deformable deep convolutional neural network.

Before joining Charles Sturt University as a PhD student, Foysal had two publications from his MSc research and held the role of Assistant Professor at KUET.
